Postby Martin » Mon Jun 20, 2011 6:54 pm

Im boiling down 2 whole sheep carcass's after butchering em for jerky, there's a lot of fat coming off that Im saving for roasties but does anyone have any idea what tallow could have been used for when on an expedition for example ? or by trappers / hunters around 1800's, I want a tub of it on the table I use during demos etc, Im going to mention its used in pemmican making and burning for light etc just looking for other uses :)
