Hi, i'm new here i have been researching on google and have yet to find anything useful. I'm sorry if i'm posting in the wrong section of this forum. But i need help finding a 'primary source' of piracy in the 17th century. Please i need help and can't find anywhere else. Once again if this is the wrong section im terribly sorry

What kind of primary source?

You could start with Esquemelin's Buccaneers of America - Google Books link: http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=TLQOAAAAYAAJ&dq=%22buccaneers+of+America%22

For smaller primary sources you might have better luck with the various documents contained in J.F. Jameson (ed.) Privateering and Piracy in the Colonial Period: Illustrative Documents - Gutenberg link: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/24882
