WWII Luftwaffe

Postby Marcus Woodhouse » Wed Aug 08, 2012 4:09 pm

For a little while I have been toying with the notion of portraying a downed Luftwaffe aircrewman, either about to be captured, or having just been captured. I would be interested in what I would need to carry off this portrayal (I have no interest in combat or obtaining a sidearm).

ooh...pricy route, the stuff is out there but with a hefty price tag. I'll point a friend who does this impression in this direction.

a uniform? flight boots? life preserver? a parachute, flying hat? and a crashed me109 and 2 home guards watching you

wouldn't bother with it mate - theirs already dozens of promenarding shotdown luftie types...

Not in my school there are not. Every two years WWII and Britain since the 1940's comes up, I'd like some kit for it.

Thanks. I also quite fancy the idea of being an Italian POW.

Goggle ww2 reanactment, the second option down is the forum site, you can question and has a quite good buy, sell section, and good info cater heroes, the guys are really friendly and willing to help,
Rather than fighter why not go heavy bomber junker or dronier then you can team up with any others you come across and do downed air crew...

Dint some of the Italian POWs in Scotland manage to tunnel out of their camp?
