c17 coins and values

Postby Peppers_mum » Tue Nov 02, 2010 8:13 pm

Can anyone point me at information which will help me understand c17 coinage and money please?
. photos/drawings of each coin
. face value description
. what could be purchased with that coin
. how long you would have to work to earn that (if you were say a pikeman at 6d per day)

I am looking at the ECW period specifically.

Thanks v much. I feel this would be a really useful resource!
