Landsknecht groups UK

Postby beerdragon » Mon Jun 25, 2012 10:24 am

Does anyone know of any groups in the UK depicting Landsknechts ? As I understand Henry VIII employed quite a few, always fancied the clothes so hoping tio find a group that does.

If ther are no groups would anyone be interested in putting one together?

cheers
Chris

I think Sapper's lot are the Tudor Household aka www.thefreecompany.co.uk

There is also Lord Robert Cecils men who do later puffed and slashed fellows, 'Fahlein Uri' who certainly do Henrican germanic mercenaries. Tudor Travellers also do a bit of the earlier stuff as well I think.
