Does anyone know of any groups in the UK depicting Landsknechts ? As I understand Henry VIII employed quite a few, always fancied the clothes so hoping tio find a group that does.
If ther are no groups would anyone be interested in putting one together?
cheers Chris

i'm looking for sapper too, i was a member of s.c.u.m. in the early years and am trying to reconnect, i checked out the star in brighton earlier tonight and sapper and a few others still drink in there so i'll try again this wed evening if i'm back from work early enough.
There is also Lord Robert Cecils men who do later puffed and slashed fellows, 'Fahlein Uri' who certainly do Henrican germanic mercenaries. Tudor Travellers also do a bit of the earlier stuff as well I think.
http://www.griffinhistorical.com. A delicious decadent historical trifle. Thick performance jelly topped with lashings of imaginative creamy custard. You may also get a soggy event management sponge finger but it won't cost you hundreds and thousands.
