is there any way i can get notified of new threads in reenactors wanted?

I always search by 'veiw new posts' so see all new threads and posts
you can watch an existing thread but I dont think you can watch for new ones so the search may be the best way

Yep.

Go into the Re-enactors Wanted section; click "subscribe to fourm" at the bottom of the page.

You can manage this later in your user profile, on the first tab, Overview, by clicking the Manage Subscriptions button.
