photos too large

photos too large

I am trying to attach an avatar picture of myself to my profile, but they all seem to be too large. How can I make one smaller to meet the 100 x 100 pixel size requirements...

most art type progs will allow you to crop and resize, I would try cropping off all that is not wanted first and then resize whats left.
I normally use paint shop pro but there are also websites for picture hosting that have such tools, try photobucket.com, upload and edit your picture and from there when you are happy make it your avatar

Found one that was small enough to crop... huzzah! Many thanks for your advice.
